Bambi: A Life in the Woods by Felix SaltenMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
I don't know what they taught children back in the day, but this is not something I would read with a young child. This is most definitely not your Disney version of Bambi (not that I was expecting it). I read this book because I had heard something about it, so I had to read it for myself.
Overall it was a good story, and I am going to read the other books.
