Review: Where the Crawdads Sing

I am really conflicted on how to rate this book. Somewhere around the 40-45% mark, I put it down because life happened, but I had a difficult time picking it up again. The book had gotten really dull and felt like it was going nowhere. You can guess what happens near the beginning of the book, but it drags getting there.

I did enjoy the story itself. I know I am in the minority on this, but I didn't love it.
